– are uncomfortable to be around but they still are the people you want to hang out with! Have you ever met a person who oh-so annoys you with their simple excitement and love for the things of the Kingdom of God and yet you feel weirdly attracted to them? I have! They may seem foolish in the eyes of the world but I don’t think God gets embarrassed by their passion. Consider how foolish Noah looked like when God gave him a Word and he began to live by it with unshakable faith. Paul said it quite well, “If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.” And that’s what makes faith so exciting. We might never see the full reward of it on this side of time yet it’s still worth it.
Great faith either offends you or it awakens your heart to what’s possible. It either hardens you or it stirs you up with an unquenchable longing for the more of Him. Jesus himself marveled at people who had great faith (Matt 8:10)! This really astonishes me: God can be amazed by our faith..? I desire to be a person whose faith brings a sweet shaking into peoples lives in order for their hearts to be revealed and restored. Let's think about it, for instance, why would I ever be offended by someone's joy? Sounds funny when you write it down but that actually happens! The elder brother is offended by the relationship the younger brother has with the Father even though he himself has the same access to him as well! I think faith only offends us when it confronts our comfort way of thinking and living, requiring a real action and repentance (changing the way I think). Faith moves the mountains through relationship. With God everything is possible! Wait, who said that? Jesus did. Isn’t that crazy or what! Could He really mean that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES? —-- That’s just too radical. I’ve heard many stories when it didn’t happen like that so I should perhaps lower my expectations to my current experience? Perhaps. But it would be ridiculous in the eyes of faith.

What happens when I draw in? What happens when I enter into His presence? Your faithfulness surrounds you. Psalm 89:8 What is it like to see His faithfulness surround Him? What does it feel like to have it touch my skin as His light shines away the shadows of lies that I had been carrying with me? Mercy calls me by name and I drop my burdens as I hear Him speak. When His loving-kindness captures my attention, I forget the worry of whether or not He will be able to sustain me. Jesus. This is what I need. Mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face. 89:14
Exodus 33:19 “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you ––”
In every touch of God there is a revelation of Him. Experiencing Him is like God kissing your face. Awaken my love. How do you see Him today? Will you let His light touch your fears? Will you pass through the disappointments of not being enough, of not measuring up... and just let the light come in. As you have been fully known and accepted, to remind you once again... We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. Lift up your eyes my beloved. 1 Cor 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. Listen to the following song and ask the Father to let His light shine upon you. May He take you by surprise. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 Did you know that God speaks to you in a way that you will actually understand what He is saying? Why would He not do so? And what would ever make you even think otherwise? Our loving Father sacrificed His only Son so that we might have a relationship with Him. The fact that you think that you can't hear from God doesn't mean that you couldn't or you didn't. Anyone can hear from God! In the Old Testament God spoke to Pharaoh through dreams and he was not even "a believer"! Sure, Pharaoh couldn't understand those dreams and needed someone (that is, a man of God) to interpret them. Lectures on "How to hear God's voice" are always fully packed. Why is that? One of the reasons is that we are believing lies about God and ourselves. We are confused with our identity as the sons and daughters of God or/and hold unforgiveness in our hearts, which kind of makes it more difficult to hear Him clearly. Sometimes we haven't been cultivating our relationship with our Father and would therefore love to learn a way to fix the relationship that's been lacking intimacy for years. It's beneficial to learn the principles of hearing God's voice but we don't need to get stuck at looking at the finger (principles) that's pointing to a real Person. Intimacy and trust grow only by time. I can easily read pages of the Bible and not have my heart involved. After finishing my "time with the Lord" on those occasions — I still feel empty. We might have also made hearing from God sound a way too mysterious and difficult too. That's really sad because hearing God is at the core of discipleship and what it really means to follow* Jesus. You simply can't have intimacy without communication. Communion with God has always a positive impact in our lives, such like encouragement, certain behavior, good attitudes, joy, giving, adoration and fulfillment... Jesus is the bread of life that came down from heaven. The Bible also says that Jesus is the Word of God. Digesting God's words leads us to understand what He is like, which eventually will transform our lives! HOW AWESOME IS THAT! Jesus Himself said: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow* me.
For anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him. Hebrews 11:6 When I finished high school I was HUNGRY for God and wanted to get to know Him. I had this thought in my mind that I can't hear from God and I kind of questioned and doubted the whole idea of having a RELATIONSHIP with God. Whaaaaaaat? So, what did I do? The only thing I knew: I started to pray and fast, spend time before Him and read the Bible like never before! I decided to trust that He is who He says He is and seek His face. I told God that I didn't understand Him but that I honestly wanted to get to know Him. I asked if He would start revealing Himself to me through His Word and He did!! Why wouldn't he? One night (during my DTS) He woke me up and I heard a voice saying: "I hear your voice Heidi." WOW!! That, if anything, bleeeew my mind! God of the Universe spoke to me! Sooooo unexpected and yet it was not. OF COURSE He heard the cry of His beloved daughter and wanted to answer me! That experience began to shift my relationship with Him. I started to see myself as a daughter, not a beggar who had to somehow get God's attention. I started to see that He had already set His eyes on me and longed to have communion with me! Discerment? To sum up, when I say "God spoke to me" I mean that I discerned that the thought/impression/whatever I received was from Him. Sometimes some Bible verses jump out of the page for me, sometimes I get an impression (an inspired thought, a feeling in my body, seeing with my eyes) while talking to someone and at times I've received significant dreams where I believe God spoke to me. We must test our thoughts [the Bible encourages us to test the spirits behind the words we receive] to discern whether they were from God, from ourselves or from the enemy. And therefore, because we are not immune to the voice of the evil one, this is why we should practice hearing accountable to our community. Learning is FUN and recognizing the voice of the Holy Spirit is even more! The goal of the Book is to teach us to know God! I bless you with heavenly encounters as you start practicing and going deeper into knowing Him! "As close as I can, as close as it's possible for a man" I wrote in one of my songs. Photo 1. Photo 2. “We must look, and go on looking till we have certainly seen exactly what is there.” C.S Lewis I want to share you a Bible verse that has been bringing tears into my eyes lately: And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8
My question is today: is it possible? Is it still possible to walk with God? Is it still possible to yield to His Spirit and follow Him? I believe it is and it changes everything. It changes the way I live my every day life! And I can't talk myself out of it — we are called to walk with God DAILY. We have been invited to fellowship with God and to know His heart! God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I should probably copy paste here the whole Bible, but go study and find out yourself what FRIENDSHIP with God means! It will blow your mind! YES! I mean, the God of the Universe wants to call you His friend? Not just a slave or a servant... which itself would have been wonderful (like John Bevere often says)! If He had wanted to have robots, surely He would have created us that way. Instead, He gave us hearts to feel, think and freely choose whether or not to love Him. I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father. John 15:15 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. JESUS DID THAT FOR US. To sum up, I have an honor to share a beautiful dream my friend had recently. I pray it awakens IN YOU the desire to know God intimately! Be blessed! In the dream my friend was with a bunch of people who were talking about what they'd like to have written on their gravestone. They kept talking and talking and didn't let my friend have an opportunity to say what she had on her heart. But... when she finally got her chance, she said: <<My gravestone will say: "God is a friend.">> Pic 1 is my own. Pic 2. Pic 3. Testing is good! And we don't have to be afraid of trials. Even the greatest challenges we face can be faced with JOY because we know that God will work our testing out to mature us. Who wouldn't like to GROW IN FAITH and STEADFASTNESS? When we chose Jesus we chose pruning and the path that leads to righteousness and holiness! That is awesome! Though God never said that testing wouldn't come or it didn't hurt — He promised that trials would force our faith to show its true colors (MSG). Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:2—6 Confusion has its roots in lies and temptation comes from our sinful desires, which try to drag us away. We should never say: “God is tempting me” because God is never tempted to do wrong and He never tempts anyone else (we should know this by know, right?). All lies originate from the father of lies that is the devil who only comes to kill, steal and destroy. If anything in our lives starts to destroy us and steal our faith, identity and security, that would be the devil — not God. Jesus said that He has come to give us life. One thing I love about trials, is that they really get you (back) to the center of what's truly important. In the mids of confusion you will find yourself leafing though the pages of the Bible and every word seems to just SINK IN to your soul. AH and you squeeze and squeeze those verses until the emptiness gets fulfilled. I heard Jesus one time speak to me: The Word belongs to me until you eat it. Oh, that voice!! I want to feast on Christ and His words the rest of my days. (Jesus is the Word of God and the Bread of Life.) Don't hesitate to receive the words that He speaks. Eat them, own them, digest them and let them transform you! A Bible that's falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn't. Charles Spurgeon Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial! Having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Life and more life! Don't be afraid, God will never leave you! Pic 1. Teksi löytyy suomeksi loppupuolelta sivua! Does not wisdom call? Does not understanding raise her voice? On the heights beside the way, at the crossroads she takes her stand; beside the gates in front of the town, at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud: “To you, O men, I call, and my cry is to the children of man." (Proverbs 8:1—4) Did you notice WHERE wisdom is calling people? She is crying out at the crossroads, beside the gates and at the entrance of portals — in another words — at places where people make their decisions. Who wouldn't like to use some wisdom in choosing your future-spouse, education or work to apply to? Proverbs meet our burning questions by showing how God is right where we are and fully ready to pour out His wisdom into our hearts to make good decisions. Yes, He is literally CRYING ALOUD to the children of man. You and me. One of the most prayed prayers in the world, I suppose, is to ask God to tell us what to do next. We would love to know that LOUD AND CLEAR. But what if it's on God's heart to give us permission to dream and plan our future WITH Him? There is a mystery hidden in wisdom and dreaming coming together. Why would He want us to acquire wisdom if we were just supposed to receive all instruction to our lives without using our transformed minds? --like machines? That would be the spirit of stupid right there. :P What if He created us to live in fellowship with Him! One of my passions is to help people find their calling and I whole-heartedly believe that God has an unique purpose for each and every one of us, but I also think that it is in our Heavenly Father's heart to include us and our desires in getting us into our destiny. For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay no greater burden on you than these few requirements-- (Acts 15:28.) (With all that being said, we know that sometimes God gives incredibly clear directions to us! I've experienced that the clearer we hear the more difficult the "task" might be and more responsibility will we have to do it! The wildest and wisest thing I've ever done is that I left my job to follow Jesus' voice. That was crazy! I would have lost my hope in that process if I hadn't heard Him so clearly. The story ended well and He proved Himself true! YAY! Special thanks to my dear Jenni M., who supported me soooo much in the middle of my adventure!) Proverbs 13:12 reveals the way God created us to function as humans: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. God created man into His own likeness and our ability to dream is one of His creative aspects. In joining ourselves to Him, His power will begin to empower our dreaming and give us wisdom and insight, which will ultimately result in supernatural outcomes, that is, something that is far beyond human asking or imagining. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (Eph 3:20.) Giving ourselves permission to dream won't take away God's amazing voice and our yieldedness to His Spirit. In fact, it is our yieldedness to Him that enables us to dream and lifts it up into a whole new level. It fascinates me every time I realize how enthusiastic Jesus gets when I share my small dreams with Him! WOW HEIDI! He says. That is _AMAZING_! That is so beautiful! Our Father will love this! I can't wait to see what it will look like! Would you like to get some wisdom to do all that's in your heart? I would love to pour out my Spirit upon you and empower you to accomplish it! We may have experienced many disappointments along the way that have caused us to swear not to ever dream again and that is one of the first things God begins to free us from when we come in close intimacy with Him. We serve a Living God and fears and doubts won't be able to paralyze us when we focus our eyes on the perfecter of our faith, JESUS. WOW! Let us listen to God's voice, ASK FOR WISDOM and then make our move. He will make our paths straight! Pic 1. Pic 2.
Luultavasti yksi maailman rukoilluimmista rukouksista on pyytää Jumalaa kertomaan meille, mitä tehdä seuraavaksi. Tuo on aivan MAHTAVAA! Niin kaunista! Meidän Isämme tulee rakastamaan tätä enkä malta odottaa, että näemme, miltä se tulee näyttämään! Haluaisitko viisautta toteuttaa tuon kaiken, mitä on sydämelläsi? Me palvelemme Elävää Jumalaa eikä mikään pelko tule halvaannuttamaan meitä kun pidämme katseemme kiinnitettyinä uskomme täydelliseksi tekijään, JEESUKSEEN. Vau! Kuunnellaan Hänen ääntään, PYYDETÄÄN VIISAUTTA ja tehdään sitten päätöksiä. Hän tekee polkumme suoriksi! Kuva 1. I want all my dreams to flow out from this kind of a heart! A heart that is at rest in Him. Tahdon, että unelmani kumpuavat tälläisestä sydämestä! Sydämestä, joka lepää Jumalassa. What can I do for You? What can I bring to You? What kind of song would you like me to sing? I'll dance a dance for You Pour out my love to You What can I do for You beautiful King? 'Cause I... can't thank You enough. I can't thank You enough "Now faith is the evidence of things not seen. It is being sure of what we cannot see. God was pleased with the men who had faith who lived long ago." I'm so glad to announce that I'm going to attend Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry next fall! California, here I come! BSSM is a big school of 2,000 students from 64 different countries. Their mission is to equip and deploy revivalists who passionately pursue world-wide transformation in their God-given spheres of influence. Students are trained to continue in the ministry style of Jesus: to enjoy the presence of God, say what He is saying, and do what He is doing. There is a strong emphasis on healing, developing a prophetic culture, and demonstrating the gospel with power. This was one of the reasons I decided to launch a new blog: so that I might be able so share my journey with you! Your support and encouragement means A LOT to me and I'm blessed to have you in my life! (I wouldn't be going without you, that's for sure.) ♡ I'm really excited about this blog too, because I honesty think that this will also encourage you a lot! God has really led me to make this decision and I'm going to share some of my testimonies here in this blog in the future. I write about things that have transformed me, touched me and what I've personally experienced, but one of the best things about having a blog is that God often times tests my heart about the things I've boldly declared here––leading me to live out my faith over and over again. This post, for instance, Tuhlaan kaikkeni sinuun (I waste it all on you) increased God's radical moves and power in my life (I'm going to repost that in English in the future). Had I been told about the sacrifices God was going to ask me to make, I wouldn't necessarily have believed them then. But now, (once again) in the middle of laying down my life and dreams for Jesus, I have NEVER felt so blessed, favored and safe! Sacrifice feels really good. Painful, yes, but really good. All I want is to give something valuable to my King, who I'm madly in love with! When people look at sacrifice on the outside, they many times miss to perceive the love and affection that causes givers to give. In the end, the price of following Jesus is ridiculous compared to what we will receive! Ah, what else could we give to God when we see Him? HE IS SO WORTHY! My desire is to give Him more than He ever even asks me to give! I am not my own anymore and He owns all of me, but I have still found out that there's a difference between the sacrifice that He compels us to give and the sacrifice of thanksgiving that we willingly make out of love, affection and gratefulness toward Him. (Check out David in the OT for instance!) I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN ME ON THIS ADVENTURE! I welcome you to like Gold Poured Out on Facebook to stay tuned! You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving. On suuri ilo kertoa teille, että lähden syksyllä Kaliforniaan Bethel-kouluun! Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry -kouluun saapuu vuosittain 2 000 opiskelijaa jopa 64 eri maasta. Voit tykätä Gold Poured Out:sta Facebookissa, niin näet päivitykset sieltäkin suoraan! AWESUM!! Encountering us Christians should be encountering JESUS! In one podcast (Eternal Home of the Death) John Bevere told a story about his friend, whose grandmother had an encounter with Jesus. He told that she had been seeking God all her life but hadn't found Him. Then, one day at a dance she heard the audible voice of God speak to her: "Seek the Eternal Dance." Wow. No one else did hear that voice, but the woman was convinced that she hadn't heard wrong. So, she left the dance and went home longing to hear that voice to speak to her again. Who was it?? The woman in the story ended up visiting Jesus on the cross dying for her sins in Golgatha and also seeing the lake of fire full of people cursing God. She received salvation right there! Oh, and that radical encounter changed the rest of her life. According to the story, the woman faced fierce persecution in sharing what she had experienced. I don't want to build my own kingdom here on earth! I'm not here for building my own reputation or getting as much money or fame or what ever I can get. NO. I'm here to represent Jesus and to build His Kingdom. We are here to love God and to make Him known! Persecution is a promise that Jesus gave us. It's not one of those favorite ones that we love to quote or meditate on though. If there is no persecution, are we doing something wrong? Just asking... Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Much love and listen to this following song by Jesus Culture. It will make you DANCE! xoxo Heidi Picture. Eräässä opetuksessaan (Eternal Home of the Death) John Bevere kertoi tarinan ystävästään, jonka isoäiti kohtasi Jeesuksen radikaalilla tavalla. Seek the Eternal Dance." Wow. Just asking... Meillä on IKUINEN ELÄMÄ hänen kanssaan! xoxo Heidi Kuva täältä.
